2. Orders
By placing an order on our website, you enter into a binding agreement to purchase the selected products. You will receive an order confirmation by email. The contract is concluded once we send this confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example in the case of pricing errors, stock issues or suspected fraud. If a product is unavailable after payment, we will refund you in full as soon as possible.
3. Prices
All prices are shown in euros and include Dutch VAT (where applicable). Delivery costs are shown separately during checkout. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
4. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (including iDEAL, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and bank transfer). Full payment is required before dispatch. By submitting your order, you confirm that all payment details provided are accurate and valid.
5. Delivery
We dispatch in-stock orders within 2 business days via Cycloon. Delivery takes 1 to 2 business days after dispatch. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. For full details, see our Shipping page.
We are not liable for delays or damage caused by our delivery partners. If your order arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage immediately with the carrier.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your products, without giving any reason. We voluntarily extend this to 30 days.
To exercise this right, contact us at meppel@hirondellebikeshop.com before the deadline. Products must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
7. Returns
Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense. Products must be returned to:

8. Refunds
Once we receive and verify your return, we will process your refund within 15 days via your original payment method. If the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item), return shipping costs are covered by us.
9. Warranty and liability
All products are covered by the statutory legal guarantee under Dutch and EU consumer law. This means products must conform to the description and be free from defects.
Any visible damage or defects must be reported within 48 hours of receipt by email to meppel@hirondellebikeshop.com. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of income or consequential losses.
10. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions are valid for the period and conditions stated. Only one discount code may be used per order. Gift vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue.
11. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. In the event of a dispute, we will first attempt to resolve it amicably. If no resolution is reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

13. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page. Your continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
