Vélo Orange Smooth Touring saddle

The saddle Vélo Orange Smooth Touring is a wide comfortable saddle, designed for people who keep their handlebar at seat height or above.

The idea is to create a affordable and light that looks like a leather saddle and has a classic look while being adapted to gravel and long distance outputs.

With a width of 165 mm, it is about the same width as a leather saddle Brooks B17.

But this is somewhat misleading because there are no rivets or "skirts" in flared leather. Thus, the seating area is comparable to a slightly wider leather model.

With weight of 425 grams only, it is considerably lighter than a modern leather saddle. Its length is 282 mm, about the same as that of a saddle Brooks Swallow.

The smooth texture makes it easy to slip and feel comfortable during long walks and climbs. The top is extremely resistant to water, ideal for hiking and city bikes.

The body is in thermoplastic with a layer of high density foam. The rails are chromoly steel.
