Restrap Utility Hip Pack: a hip pack on foot, a bar bag on the bike

Why choose between a hip pack and a handlebar bag? The Utility Hip Pack is both. Ride with it strapped to your handlebar, then clip it around your waist when you step off the bike to explore a town, grab a coffee or walk the last stretch of a trail.

The waist straps fold neatly into the back panel, so switching from one mode to the other takes seconds and nothing dangles in the way.

Waterproof where it counts

The main compartment is fully waterproof and tape sealed, closed by a roll top and a Fidlock magnetic buckle that opens with one hand. The outer is made from hard wearing, PFC free TPU with a bright orange lining.

Comfortable and stable

On the body, ergonomic hip fins, an airmesh back panel and adjustable straps keep the pack close to your lower back. On the bike, fast straps hold it to the handlebar and a head tube retention strap stops it from bouncing.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my handlebar?

It fits drop bars and flat bars. On drop bars, check the space between the drops for your hands. We are happy to try it on your bike at L'Hirondelle Bike Shop in Meppel.

What fits inside?

Six litres take a light jacket, a phone, a wallet, keys and snacks, with small items ready in the side pockets.

Is it waterproof?

The main compartment is tape sealed and fully waterproof. Roll the top at least three times before closing the Fidlock buckle.

Can it be repaired?

Yes. It is handmade in Leeds and covered by Restrap's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
