Restrap Saddle Pack: ride further, carry more

Long rides call for a little more: an extra layer, spare gloves, a tube and something to eat. The Saddle Pack carries these essentials under your saddle, neatly and without sway, so your jersey pockets stay free and your bike stays light.

Redesigned from the ground up for 2025, it comes in two sizes. The 2.5L suits audax rides, fast days out and smaller frames. The 4.5L takes a packable jacket and more for longer days or lightweight bikepacking.

Three fabrics, one purpose

The sides are made from Restrap's 1000D textured nylon, in black, orange or olive to match your Canister Bag and the rest of the range. The top and bottom use a tough TPU coated nylon that wipes clean in seconds, and the orange PU coated lining is seam sealed to keep the weather out and make your kit easy to spot.

Stable and waterproof

A rigid internal structure keeps the bag in shape whether it is full or nearly empty, and redesigned grippy Hypalon straps hold it snugly against the saddle and seatpost. The roll top closes with a Fidlock magnetic buckle for quick, 100% waterproof access.

Frequently asked questions

2.5L or 4.5L?

The 2.5L holds a tube, tools, a light layer and food. The 4.5L adds room for a packable rain jacket or extra clothing. On small frames, the 2.5L leaves more space above the rear tyre. We are happy to advise you at L'Hirondelle Bike Shop in Meppel.

Does it work with a dropper post?

Yes, with a dedicated adaptor that keeps the bag clear of the moving part of the post.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. The materials are waterproof, the lining is seam sealed and the roll top closes the opening. Roll it at least three times before closing the buckle.

Can it be repaired?

Yes. It is handmade in Leeds and covered by Restrap's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
