Restrap Race Bar Bag: light, fast and fully waterproof at the front

Designed for racing and fast bikepacking, the Race Bar Bag combines a holster that stays on the bike with a 7 litre waterproof dry bag that comes out in seconds. Pack at camp, click it back in, and ride.

Two versions are available. The Drop Bar version uses a 280 mm wide roll top dry bag that fits between the drops and leaves room for your hands. The Flat Bar version uses a slimmer double roll dry bag, 160 mm in diameter, that runs wider for extra clearance above the front wheel and opens at both ends.

Stable on any road

The TPX holster uses a GripTight patch and a hook and loop system to hold the dry bag firmly in place, so it never slides from side to side. Spring loaded cam buckles and foam spacers secure the holster to the handlebar.

Frequently asked questions

Drop Bar or Flat Bar version?

Choose according to your handlebar. The Drop Bar version is shaped to sit between the drops of road and gravel bars. The Flat Bar version is longer and slimmer, ideal for flat bars and bikes with little clearance above the tyre. Not sure? Ask us at L'Hirondelle Bike Shop in Meppel.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. The dry bag is 100% waterproof. Roll the closure at least three times for full protection.

Can I use another dry bag in the holster?

Yes. The Race holster accepts both the Race Roll Top dry bag and the Race Double Roll dry bag, so you can switch between them.

Can it be repaired?

Yes. It is handmade in Leeds and covered by Restrap's lifetime warranty, and dry bags are available separately.
