Restrap City Loader: 20 litres at the front of your Brompton

The City Loader turns a Brompton into a proper everyday carrier. Clipped onto the front carrier block, it holds a laptop, a change of clothes, lunch and a lock, and it comes off in a second when you arrive, ready to carry with its handle or shoulder strap.

Like every bag in the Restrap City range, it leaves the folding mechanism untouched, so your Brompton folds exactly as before.

Two waterproof compartments

Two fold closure compartments offer up to 20 litres of storage in 100% waterproof textured nylon with a tape sealed lining. Spare clothes and electronics stay dry on the wettest commute.

Thought out for city life

An adjustable strap with a Fidlock buckle closes the main compartment and holds a jacket or dry bag on the outside. Side compression straps keep the bag compact when it is half full and secure a bottle or a lock in the side pockets, and a dedicated slot takes a D lock. Internal and external stiffeners keep the shape, even fully loaded, and reflective details on the front pocket keep you visible at night.

Frequently asked questions

Does it fit my Brompton?

It fits every Brompton fitted with the front carrier block. It is not compatible with the Brompton Electric. If your bike has no carrier block yet, we can fit one for you at L'Hirondelle Bike Shop in Meppel.

Can I carry a laptop?

Yes. The 20 litre main compartment takes a laptop alongside clothes and lunch, all protected by the waterproof lining.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. Both compartments are made from 100% waterproof fabric with a tape sealed lining and close with a fold closure.

Does it affect folding or my lights?

No. The bag does not interfere with folding, and it works with the Brompton front light, dynamo light and front reflector.

Can it be repaired?

Yes. It is handmade in Leeds and covered by Restrap's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
