The X-Plorer is Ortlieb's large-format solution for the kind of adventure where conditions are unknown and the equipment must be completely reliable. Built as a waterproof alternative to rigid boxes and bulky barrels, it is equally suited to underground exploration, water sports, expedition trekking and secure transport on racks or vehicles.

Roll-n-snap closure — 100% waterproof

The roll-n-snap closure delivers absolute waterproofing without moving parts that can fail. Rolling the top three to four times and snapping the buckle creates a watertight seal that holds under submersion. Unlike zipper-sealed bags, there is no seal to degrade or track to clog with trail debris.

Carry any way

Anatomically shaped, padded and adjustable shoulder straps with a chest strap distribute the load correctly for extended carries. The X-Plorer is also suited for use as a protective transport bag for fragile items, lashed to a rack or vehicle roof.
