Ortlieb Frame-Pack RC 4L: bikepacking precision in the triangle

The Frame-Pack RC turns the main triangle of your frame into active storage without adding aerodynamic drag or shifting weight to the extremities. At 4 litres, it carries tools, nutrition, a rain jacket or spare tubes in the one position on the bike where weight distribution is most neutral. The slim roll-top closure seals the pack waterproof and compresses it cleanly when partially filled.

Designed for the frame, not adapted to it

Six Velcro straps — individually positionable — attach the Frame-Pack RC to the top tube, saddle tube and/or downtube, accommodating a wide range of frame geometries including cables, cable stops and bottle cage mounts. Velcro tape inside the bag prevents it from rotating and keeps the pack sitting cleanly against the frame throughout the ride.

The RC difference

The ‘RC’ designation indicates this is the Race Cut variant — designed to maximise frame coverage while maintaining a lower, more aerodynamic profile than the standard Frame-Pack, with a large top opening for easier loading under pressure.
