Mechanical caliper kit + 160mm Promax disc

Ideal kit for installation of a stirrup kit + disc mechanical in postmount pROMAX brand name with a 160 mm disc.

Possible to install it in front or rear.

• Before: The front postmount disc brake is usually mounted directly on the forks that are designed for this type of mounting.
• Back: The rear postmount disc brake mounts on the rear legs of the frame, which are also postmount specific
• Postmount: This type of mounting uses mounting holes parallel to the mounting surface, which is common on many modern ATVs.
• Adapters: Depending on your frame or fork, you may need an adapter to properly mount the brake bracket with the 160 mm disc

Installation of steelworks:

• Position steel on postmount mounting
• Use the bolts provided to attach to the frame or fork
• Make sure the disc is in the center of the chain

Adjustment:

• Once mounted, you may need to adjust its position to prevent the disc from rubbing against the pads. This is usually done by slightly loosening the mounting bolts, tightening the brake lever to center the caliper, and then tightening the bolts.
