Restrap Downtube Bag: storage in the space you never use

Under the down tube there is space most riders never think about. The Downtube Bag puts it to work, keeping tools, spares and heavier items low and central, where they do not upset the balance of the bike.

It is ideal on small frames with little room inside the triangle, on bikes with a dropper post, or as the finishing touch to a full bikepacking setup.

Waterproof and rattle free

A roll top closure keeps the contents dry, a single integrated hook and loop strap holds the bag tight, and a stitched grip pad stops it from slipping. No bolts or bosses are needed, so it moves from one bike to another in seconds.

What should I carry in it?

Heavier, compact items: a tube, a pump, tools or a tyre repair kit. Keeping them low makes the bike feel lighter to ride.

Will it fit my frame?

It fits most down tubes, from slim steel to oversized aluminium and carbon. Check the clearance to the front wheel on small frames. We can check it with you at L'Hirondelle Bike Shop in Meppel.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. Roll the top several times before closing it to keep road spray out.

Can it be repaired?

Yes. It is handmade in Leeds and covered by Restrap's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
