The cINEELLI NEMO TIG frame kit is reinterpretation a framework legend.
The engineers at CINEELLI, in partnership with their colleagues from COLUMBUS wondered what the mythical Supercorsa if he had been born today not in the 1950s.
Answer, technical details and video presentation by Antonio Colombo Himself below.

It all starts with the choice of material.
The observation is that carbon dominates the competition bike frame market and the diagnosis is that the strong point of carbon is the combination of low weight and high rigidity.
In fact, COLUMBUS Spirit steel was chosen to fight these two aspects. Below is the technical details of this exceptional alloy.

Due to its specific composition, guaranteeing it a maximum mechanical stress between 1050 and 1250 MPa, it is possible to reduce the wall thickness of the main tubes in an extreme way without prejudice to the integrity of the tubes.
In other words, where the wall of a standard Chromoly steel tube measures between 0.8 and 1 mm, within the framework of the Spirit, this value is largely divided by 2 to reach the incredible thickness of 0.38 mm at the finest parts.
Weight gain on a frame is obvious.
The quality of a high-end road bike frame is not based solely on the quality of its steel, however. At least two elements are equally important: The geometry used and the manufacturing process.
On the first point, which says large section tubes, says increased rigidity. Thus, due to the very low weight of this steel alloy, engineers were able to increase the diameter of the tubes in proportions never seen for a steel frame without turning it into anvil.
At the manufacturing level, TIG welding guarantees invisible junctions between the tubes.
A fork Columbus 100% carbon is associated with this exceptional frame. The frame and fork assembly therefore weighs just over 2 kg.
A non-quantifiable data is the essential motivation for this research: The running comfort. Where uncomfortable carbon bounces, Spirit alloy absorbs and takes care of its driver.
The less demanding steel in all directions offers a lively and pleasant steering. Anglo-Saxons use the term "zippy ride" to image it.
The CINEELLI NEMO TIG road bike frame kit is available in all the usual sizes and can be made in custom dimensions on request.
In terms of colours, in addition to the 5 standard colours, 25 optional colours are available in matte or glossy finish.
Also available in disc brake version here.
