The children's bike WOOM EXPLORE 5 is the 24-inch all-rounder for children aged 7 to 11, measuring between 125 and 145 cm. At 9 kg it stays genuinely light for its size, which is what lets a young rider handle it confidently on a climb, a kerb or a loose gravel corner.
Eight gears with a microSHIFT trigger shifter, hydraulic disc brakes and Schwalbe all-terrain tyres cover everything from the ride to school to a full weekend on the trails. Matte paint, black components and black rims keep the look sporty and uncluttered.

The EXPLORE comes in three sizes. The EXPLORE 4 has 20-inch wheels for riders of 115 to 130 cm, this EXPLORE 5 has 24-inch wheels for 125 to 145 cm, and the EXPLORE 6 has 26-inch wheels for 140 to 165 cm. Where two sizes overlap, we generally recommend the smaller one for a first geared bike and the larger one for a confident rider who is still growing.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if the EXPLORE 5 is the right size?
The EXPLORE 5 suits children between 125 and 145 cm, generally aged 7 to 11. Saddle height adjusts from 664 to 817 mm and the stem is adjustable in both height and reach, so the bike grows with the rider. Is the kickstand included?
No. woom delivers its bikes without accessories. The LEGGIE kickstand in size M fits the EXPLORE 5 and is available on its own or in either of our two accessory packs.
Which accessories fit the EXPLORE 5?
The frame has dedicated threaded mounts: two under the chainstays for the LEGGIE kickstand, four on the seatstays for the PICKUP rack, and mounts on the fork crown, seatstays and axle nuts for the SNAP Click-On mudguards. Choose size Woom 5 for the mudguards and the rack, and size M for the kickstand.
What is the difference between the EXPLORE 5 and the EXPLORE 6?
Wheel size and fit. The EXPLORE 5 runs 24-inch wheels for riders of 125 to 145 cm, the EXPLORE 6 runs 26-inch wheels for 140 to 165 cm and uses a wider 11-34 cassette for steeper climbs. Both share the same frame concept, brakes and 8-speed microSHIFT drivetrain.
