The children's bike WOOM EXPLORE 6 is the 26-inch all-rounder for riders aged 10 to 14, measuring between 140 and 165 cm. At 9.5 kg it is dramatically lighter than most bikes of this size, which is exactly what a teenager notices on a long climb or when lifting it onto a train.
Eight gears with a microSHIFT trigger shifter, an 11-34 cassette for steep ground, hydraulic disc brakes and Schwalbe all-terrain tyres make it a genuine everyday bike that still holds its own on gravel. Matte paint, black components and black rims give it a grown-up, understated look.

The EXPLORE comes in three sizes. The EXPLORE 4 has 20-inch wheels for riders of 115 to 130 cm, the EXPLORE 5 has 24-inch wheels for 125 to 145 cm, and this EXPLORE 6 has 26-inch wheels for 140 to 165 cm. With a maximum saddle height of 961 mm, it stays usable well into the teenage years.

The bike is supplied without additional accessories. For riding on public roads, add lights, a bell and reflectors in line with local regulations.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if the EXPLORE 6 is the right size?
The EXPLORE 6 suits riders between 140 and 165 cm, generally aged 10 to 14. Saddle height adjusts from 755 to 961 mm and the stem is adjustable in both height and reach. If your child falls between two sizes, we are happy to advise you at L'Hirondelle Bike Shop in Meppel.
Is the kickstand included?
No. woom delivers its bikes without accessories. The LEGGIE kickstand in size L fits the EXPLORE 6 and is available on its own or in either of our two accessory packs.
Which accessories fit the EXPLORE 6?
The frame has dedicated threaded mounts: two under the chainstays for the LEGGIE kickstand, four on the seatstays for the PICKUP rack, and mounts on the fork crown, seatstays and axle nuts for the SNAP Click-On mudguards. Choose size Woom 6 for the mudguards and the rack, and size L for the kickstand.
Can an adult ride it?
Within limits. The maximum load is 90 kg and the maximum saddle height is 961 mm, so a smaller adult can ride it comfortably, but the 563.7 mm top tube and 620 mm handlebars remain sized for a teenager.
What does the warranty cover?
Two years on the frame and components as standard. Registering the bike with the woom Riders Club within nine weeks of purchase extends this to ten years on the aluminium frame, rigid fork, handlebars, stem and cranks, free of charge.
