Quad Lock guide: phone mounts for your bike
A phone on the handlebar means navigation, ride tracking and music within sight, as long as it stays put. Quad Lock is a mounting system built around a twist-and-lock connection: you place the phone on the mount, turn it, and it locks in place. This guide explains how to put a setup together for your phone and your bike.
How the system works
Your phone needs the Quad Lock interface on its back: either a Quad Lock case made for your model, or a universal adapter fixed to the case you already use.
The mount stays on the bike. Quad Lock mounts are compatible with all Quad Lock cases and universal adapters, and use the brand's dual-stage lock.
Step one: your phone
The simplest option when a case exists for your phone model. Check your model in the product options before ordering.
For phones without a dedicated Quad Lock case: the adapter is fixed to your own case and gives it the Quad Lock interface.
A Quad Lock poncho covers the screen in wet weather while the phone stays on the mount. Check that it is made for your phone model.
Step two: the bike mount
Compact and easy to move between bikes. It attaches with the supplied O-rings, or with cable ties for a more permanent fit.
Bolts to the handlebar and holds the phone ahead of the stem. Supplied with spacers for common bar diameters, and compatible with the Quad Lock action camera adaptor.
A longer version of the Out Front mount, for riders who want the phone further forward.

Frequently asked questions
My phone has no Quad Lock case. What can I do?
Use a universal adapter on your own case. It gives your phone the same interface as a Quad Lock case.
Can I use one case on several bikes?
Yes. The case stays on your phone, and any Quad Lock mount accepts it, so you only need a mount per bike.
Will the mount fit my handlebar?
Each mount lists the bar diameters it suits on the product page. The Out Front mount comes with spacers for common diameters.
