Winner of the OutDoor Industry Award 2014, the Duffle RS raises the standard for wheeled travel bags by solving the fundamental flaw of most luggage on wheels: the wheel axle penetrating the waterproof body. Ortlieb integrates the 100 mm wheels in a fully watertight design — the bag can be submerged without a single drop reaching the contents.

IP64 waterproofing end to end

The roll-top closure seals the main body to IP64 — dust-tight and splash-proof from all directions. Unlike zipper-sealed luggage that admits water through the seal, the RS relies on Ortlieb’s proven roll-closure technology, the same system trusted by tourers and kayakers worldwide. The abrasion and tear-resistant fabric handles airport conveyor belts, cobblestones and rocky terrain without showing wear.

Three ways to carry

The padded, detachable backpack shoulder straps transform the RS into a comfortable pack for stairs, hiking trails and venues where wheels are impractical. For shorter distances, the ergonomic pull handle deploys smoothly, and the padded grab handle on top provides a secure lift point for overhead lockers and boots.
